Clemson receiver Dacari Collins exited the Tigers’ spring game with an apparent left arm injury.

The incident happened in the second half of the annual Orange-White game. He was checked out by trainers on the field and then taken to the locker room, per reports.

Collins is expected to be a major part of Clemson’s offense in 2022. As a true freshman last season, he caught 16 passes for 221 yards. Collins is a former 4-star prospect from Atlanta, Georgia. He was the No. 32 receiver nationally in the class of 2021, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

He’ll compete for touches with receivers like E.J. Williams, Brannon Spector, Beaux Collins and Joseph Ngata.

Clemson has been relatively healthy this spring, but its receiver room has already suffered a major injury. Freshman receiver Adam Randall tore his ACL last weekend but could return before the end of the 2022 season.

Clemson opens the regular season on Sept. 5 against Georgia Tech.
