The former Florida coach and current ESPN analyst also picked the Noles to lose to NC State last weekend.
Florida State is coming off back-to-back tough losses to Wake Forest and the Wolfpack. The Noles are trying to avoid falling to 4-3 after starting the season with a 4-0 record.
Clemson is hoping to move to 7-0 on the year. The Tigers are legitimate College Football Playoff contenders and are the heavy favorites to win the ACC Atlantic.
Clemson is also getting healthy at the right time. Dabo Swinney said this week that he’s expecting to have his team’s top 5 defensive lineman all available for this game. That would be for the first time this season.
Meanwhile, Florida State is still battling the injury bug. Running back Treshaun Ward, defensive lineman Fabien Lovett, defensive lineman Robert Cooper and offensive tackle Robert Scott are amongst the questionable players.
Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
