Deshaun Watson will not suit up for the Cleveland Browns against the Baltimore Ravens Sunday afternoon.

The former Clemson QB has been dealing with a shoulder injury this week, but him being inactive is a surprise for the Browns. Especially so in such a big game for Cleveland.

Rookie QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson is expected to get the start in lieu of Watson:

Watson has had a good, not great start to the 2023 season in Cleveland. He’s thrown for 682 yards with 4 touchdowns and 2 interceptions while leading the Browns to a 2-1 record.

Sunday will be Thompson-Robinson’s first career start in the NFL after a strong preseason with the Browns. The 5th rounder is mobile and will be facing a trial by fire facing off against one of the better defensive units in the league.
