Clemson quarterback DJ Uiagalelei earned the ACC Quarterback of the Week award for his performance vs. Wake Forest in Week 4.

In a game that Clemson’s defense struggled to hold off Wake Forest, Uiagalelei kept the game within Clemson’s reach. It was a wild game that went back and forth between the 2 teams, but Clemson ultimately won 51-45.

Uiagalelei arguably had the best performance of his college career. He finished the win with 5 touchdowns and 371 passing yards for Clemson. Uiagalelei completed 26 of 41 passes. On the ground, he rushed 14 times and totaled 52 yards. His longest rush was for 21 yards.

Heading into last Saturday’s matchup, Uiagalelei totaled 5 passing touchdowns through 3 games against Georgia Tech, Furman, and Louisiana Tech. He matched that total with his 5-touchdown performance vs. Wake Forest.

In 2022, Uiagalelei has passed for 1,033 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 1 interception.

Left tackle Jordan McFadden also earned an ACC honor as he was named co-offensive lineman of the week.

Clemson is set to host NC State on Saturday.
