Clemson is a 4.5-point favorite over No. 10 Wake Forest on Saturday, according to DraftKings.

The Tigers are trying to salvage what has been a disappointing season. They’re just 7-3 this year, but still have a chance of winning the Atlantic Division — if they can pull out a win vs. the Demon Deacons this weekend.

Meanwhile, Wake Forest is playing for the division title. Dave Clawson’s squad needs just one win from its final two games to clinch a berth in the ACC Championship Game.

And at No. 10 in the polls, one-loss Wake Forest isn’t out of the College Football Playoff discussion, either.

If Clemson is going to win on Saturday, it might need its best offensive performance of the season. The Tigers have had the worst offense in the ACC this year statistically, averaging just 4.97 yards per play.

On the other hand, Clemson has the best defense that Wake Forest has seen all year. The Tigers give up just 4.43 yards per play — by far the best in the ACC.

Quarterback Sam Hartman will be a tough matchup for the Tigers, but Vegas seems to be backing the more talented — at least on paper — team.

Clemson failed to cover the spread in its first seven games this season. However, the Tigers have beat the number in two of their last three matchups.

Clemson has won 12 straight contests vs. Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons’ last win came in 2008 — a game they won 12-7 in Winston-Salem. Wake Forest’s last win in Death Valley came in 1998.

Kickoff is at 12 p.m. ET on Saturday.
