ESPN’s FPI has released its prediction for Saturday’s clash between Clemson and Syracuse.

Clemson is 2-2 this season and is coming off of an overtime loss to Florida State in Week 4. The Tigers are still in search of their first ACC win of the season.

Syracuse, meanwhile, is 4-0 and has steamrolled the opposition. The Orange have won every game by at least 13 points so far.

With this game being played at Syracuse, ESPN’s FPI is making the Orange the favorite. The model gives Syracuse a 55.2% chance of winning the game.

Back in the preseason, FPI gave Clemson a 71.5% chance of winning this game. The Tigers have fallen below expectation so far this season by losing 2 games in September.

Both Syracuse and Clemson have defenses that are statistically-elite. They rank in the top 3 of the ACC in yards-per-play allowed.

Clemson is 9-2 all-time against Syracuse. The Tigers have won 5 straight meetings in this series.

Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon. The game will be broadcast on ABC.
