Florida State pays tribute to Ella Bresee with ‘Ella Strong’ logo on Doak Campbell Stadium

Florida State painted the logo for “Ella Strong” on its stadium prior to its matchup vs. Clemson on Saturday night.

It’s a classy gesture that pays tribute to Ella Bresee, the younger sister of Clemson defensive lineman Bryan Bresee. Ella passed away after a battle with brain cancer last month.

Here’s a look at the sign:

As the tweet above notes, Clemso

n honored the late FSU coach Bobby Bowden with a a nice gesture on its field last season during the game.

Bryan Bresee is expected to play against FSU on Saturday. He’s missed 3 of the last 4 games with the Tigers. He did not play vs. Louisiana Tech following Ella’s death and he missed Clemson’s last 2 contests with a non-football medical issue.

Florida State is hoping to snap a 2-game losing streak. The Tigers are looking for their 7th straight win over the Noles.

Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET.
