Former Clemson CB A.J. Terrell named to second team All-Pro roster

Former Clemson star cornerback A.J. Terrell is already one of the best players in the NFL at his position.

Terrell completed his second NFL season last week and performed well enough to earn second-team All-Pro honors. That achievement was announced on Friday afternoon

.

He finished the season with 81 tackles, 3 interceptions and 16 pass deflections.

Terrell had an argument to be named to the first-team All-Pro roster. Pro Football Focus graded Terrell as the top cornerback in the NFL

after 17 weeks.

However, a panel of 50 national media members went with Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs and Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey with their first-team selections.

Regardless, it’s an honor for Terrell to be named amongst the top players at his position so early on in his career. Terrell was picked at No. 16 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft.

So far in his career, Terrell has racked up 4 interceptions, 23 pass deflections and 4 forced fumbles.
