Kirk Herbstreit highlighted Clemson’s Week 12 performance on Monday night.

The Tigers made the cut as one of Herbstreit’s top-performing teams of the week. Clemson defeated North Carolina 31-20 over the weekend for its third consecutive victory.

App State, New Mexico State, Washington, Kansas State, Arizona and UNLV were the other teams to make the cut on Herbstreit’s list.

Clemson is playing its best football of the season as the season winds to a close. The Tigers have now won three straight games, all by double digits. They will have the opportunity to move to 8-4 if they can defeat South Carolina on the road this weekend.

Against North Carolina, Clemson was the beneficiary some fumble luck that burned them earlier in the season. The Tigers forced a pair of red zone fumble from UNC running back Omarion Hampton. Those turnovers helped keep the Tar Heels’ offense in-check on Saturday night in Death Valley.

Clemson and South Carolina will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
