PJ Hall, star big man, reportedly makes decision on future at Clemson

PJ Hall has developed into a versatile playmaker for Clemson over the past few seasons. Now, he could be looking to make the jump to the next level.

According to a report from Travis Branham with 247 Sports, Hall is planning on testing the NBA Draft this offseason. However, Branham reports Hall plans to maintain his college eligibility in the process and has no plans to enter the transfer portal.

That could be both good news and bad news for the Tigers all at the same time. Hall was second on the team this season with 15.4 points per game and 5.6 rebounds and led the Tigers with 1 block per game.

Impact for the Tigers

At this point, it is hard to see what the NBA Draft stock is for the 6-foot-10 Hall. However, his profile would seem to be a g

ood fit as a stretch big man at the next level.

Hall is a 34% shooter for his career from 3-point range and improved that mark to 40% during the 2022-23 season. A player of his size with that shooting touch is in high demand in the way the NBA is played these days.

As for Clemson, the Tigers would hate to lose Hall after missing out on the NCAA Tournament this season. If he were to return, Hall would give Clemson a key building block with an eye on March Madness for the 2023-24 season.
