PJ Hall isn’t quite done playing college basketball.

The star big man is returning to Clemson for another season. Hall announced Thursday that he is withdrawing from the 2023 NBA Draft after testing the waters. He shared the big news on social media.

Hall was Clemson’s lead scorer in 2022-23, averaging 15.3 poings per game, shooting 53.5% from the field, 39.8% from 3-point territory and 78.6% at the free-throw line. Hall also averaged 5.7 rebounds per contest.

“I’m thrilled that PJ decided to return to Clemson. I’m proud of how he performed at the NBA Combine, gaining valuable experience in the process,” Clemson head coach Brad Brownell said in a program release. “He’s one of the best players in our league and I’m counting on him and others to help lead a very talented group this season.”

Hall’s return gives Clemson a solid core with Joe Girard and Chase Hunter as the Tigers set their sights on making the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
