Clemson is one of the most interesting programs in all of college football this season.

The Tigers are the favorites to re-take the ACC crown after stumbling at times last season. They finished with 10 wins, but did not win the ACC Championship for the first time since 2014.

In 2022, Clemson boasts one of the top defensive lines in the country and there’s reason for optimism on offense. D.J. Uiagalelei and Cade Klubnik are expected to battle for the starting quarterback job throughout the season.

Elsewhere on offense, Clemson returns the bulk of its offensive line production from last season and 3 very talented running backs in Will Shipley, Kobe Pace and Phil Mafah.

As for the coaching staff, the Tigers went through a lot of turnover this offseason. Defensive coordinator Brent Venables and defensive line coach Todd Bates left for promotions at Oklahoma. Offensive coordinator Tony Elliott is now the head coach at Virginia.

Dabo Swinney chose to promote from within, tapping Brandon Streeter to replace Elliott and Wes Goodwin and Mickey Conn to replace Venables.

Despite the turnover and (relative) uncertain on offense, ESPN’s FPI metric is projecting 11.1 wins for Clemson in 2022. The Tigers are ranked 4th nationally in FPI, behind only Georgia, Alabama and Ohio State.

With all that in mind, here’s a video projecting Clemson’s regular season win total for the 2022 season:
