Tee Higgins, former Clemson WR, to wear new number for Bengals in 2023

Tee Higgins will be switching things up next season for the Cincinnati Bengals. The former Clemson WR will be changing his number from 85 back to his college number 5.

Higgins has wanted the number change for some time now, at least since 2021. However, due to league rules he was only allowed to make the change this coming season. On Wednesday, the Bengals revealed the news with a hype video, including some Chad Ochocinco highlights, for obvious reasons.

Check it out below:

Higgins is one of the more promising young receivers in the league, of which the Bengals have plenty. Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase catching passes from Joe Burrow seems almost unfair at times, and that’s not even mentioning 28-year old Tyler Boyd.

Cincinnati is not going away any time soon, thanks in part to a young corps of talent at the skill positions. And as Deion’s saying goes, “look good, feel good, play good.”
