Trevor Lawrence had been dealing with an injury this week. The quarterback suffered a head injury late last Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens. The QB self-reported symptoms after the game and has been in concussion protocol ever since.
However, the QB has cleared protocol and traveled with the team for the Week 16 matchup. The QB is expected to make his 49th consecutive start for the franchise as a result. This will tie the QB with Patrick Mahomes for the second-longest active streak among quarterbacks behind Josh Allen.
Lawrence has completed 65.9% of his passes for 3,525 yards and 18 touchdowns with 10 interceptions this season. The QB is definitely needed for this matchup as the Jaguars are currently in a three-way tie a
top the AFC South with the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans. The Jags have lost 3 in a row and are looking to stop the skid on Christmas Eve.
