Tyler Davis and Ruke Orhorhoro, 2 key members of Clemson’s defensive line, are returning for another season in 2023.

The two players previously acknowledged that they would likely make a decision together, and that’s what happened. On Friday afternoon, both Davis and Orhorhoro shared their plans to return to school:

This is major news for Clemson’s defensive line in 2023. The Tigers have already lost key players like Myles Murphy, Bryan Bresee and KJ Henry to the NFL Draft.

However, with Davis and Orhorhoro now slated to return, Clemson will be bringing back talent and experience on the interior. Xavier Thomas has also announced his plans to return to Clemson for another campaign in 2023.

In 2022, Davis made 9.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks. He was also credited with 1 pass deflection and 1 fumble recovery.

Orhorhoro made 8 tackles for loss in 2022, which tied his previous career-high. He also racked up 4 sacks, 5 pass deflections and 1 fumble recovery.

Clemson will be looking to get back to the College Football Playoff in 2022.
