Clemson defensive lineman Bryan Bresee has been out of action since September after suffering a torn ACL, but he seems to be progressing quickly toward a return.

Bresee posted a short workout video on Tuesday afternoon — nearly five months to the day from his initial injury.

Bresee is a former 5-star prospect and would be a huge addition to Clemson’s defensive line. He was the No. 1 overall player in the class of 2020, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

Despite the injury costing him most of the 2021 season, Bresee has still had an impressive start to his Clemson career. He has 9.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks so far.

Clemson returns plenty of front seven talent next season. In addition to Bresee, Clemson will also get back pass rushers like Myles Murphy, Xavier Thomas, Trenton Simpson and KJ Henry. All four of those players compiled at least 4.5 sacks last season.

Clemson’s spring season begins on March 2.
