Duke defeated Virginia 65-61 on Wednesday night in what proved to be one of the Blue Devils’ best road wins of the season.

Jeremy Roach (15 points), AJ Griffin (13) points and Trevor Keels (13 points) all scored in double figures. They picked up the slack from Paolo Banchero, who had an off night — just 8 points on 2-of-13 shooting.

Griffin was especially clutch down the stretch. He hit back-to-back 3-pointers in crunch time that helped halt a Virginia rally. He also hit a pair of free throws to ice the game in the final seconds. 10 of his 13 points came in the second half.

Here’s video of his 3-pointers late in the game:

Duke has now won five straight games and 10 of its last 11. The Blue Devils are in the fight for seeding in the NCAA Tournament. They recently slipped to a No. 3 seed on Joe Lunardi’s projections, but there’s still time for Duke to move back up.

The Blue Devils are now 14-3 in the ACC and have a one-game lead on Notre Dame for the regular season title. Duke faces Syracuse on the road on Saturday.
