Daniel Jones feared to have suffered significant knee injury following loss to Raiders
Daniel Jones may have suffered a devastating injury in the loss to the Las Vegas Raiders.
Ian Rapoport reported that Jones picked up a knee injury, but that it could end up being a torn ACL. Jones had 25 yards passing before the injury.
Jones left the game during the second quarter and was replaced by Tommy DeVito. Jones will undergo an MRI to figure out what exactly the injury is.
#Giants QB Daniel Jones is feared to have suffered a significant knee injury, potentially a torn ACL based on the initial tests, per me and @MikeGarafolo. He’ll have an MRI to learn the full picture.

The New York Giants signed Jones to a contract extension this offseason. It would be very unfortunate if Jones’ ACL is torn after extending the Duke product.
Jones has accounted for 884 yards passing with 2 touchdowns and 6 interceptions this season. He has played in 5 games so far after missing time due to injury.
New York ended up losing to Las Vegas 30-6. The Giants moved to 2-7 after the loss, but luckily there are plenty of games left in the season.
A division matchup with the Dallas Cowboys awaits the Giants in Week 10.
