Duke basketball lands another 5-star commit in class of 2024
Duke added yet another 5-star prospect to its 2024 recruiting class on Saturday.
The Blue Devils earned a commitment from center Patrick Ngongba on Saturday afternoon. Ngongba is the fourth 5-star prospect to commit to Duke so far in the class of 2024.

NEWS: Patrick Ngongba, the No. 21 overall prospect in the 2024 class, tells me he’s committed to Duke.
The 6-10 center chose the Blue Devils over Kansas State and Kentucky.

Ngongba is the No. 25 overall player and the No. 5 center in the country for the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 2 player from the state of Virginia.
Ngongba is listed at 6-foot-11, 235 pounds. He projects to be a two-way force at the next level with great length and a versatile offensive skillset.
Duke’s 2024 recruiting class is headlined by No. 1 overall player Cooper Flagg, but the Blue Devils are set to pair him with several other elite prospects. Duke also has commitments from fellow 5-star prospects Isaiah Evans and Kon Knueppel.
