Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said freshman guard Trevor Keels remains “doubtful” for the Blue Devils’ clash with Clemson on Tuesday.

“He has progressed very well, but he still has not gotten on the court,” Krzyzewski told reporters.

Keels suffered a lower leg injury in Duke’s 79-78 loss to Florida State last week. He missed Duke’s win over Syracuse this weekend, with Wendell Moore Jr. and Jeremy Roach handling most of the playmaking duties.

Aside from the game vs. Syracuse, Keels has been in Duke’s starting five for every other contest this season. He’s averaging 11.9 points and 3.2 assists per game.

Duke enters this week with a 5-2 record in ACC play. The Blue Devils have lost to Miami and Florida State in recent weeks, but still have a chance to earn a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. They already have marquee wins vs. Gonzaga and Kentucky, but will need to be more consistent in ACC play over the coming weeks.

Roach is expected to be in the starting lineup again vs. the Tigers on Tuesday.

Duke hosts Clemson at 7:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
