Duke’s game on Saturday vs. Cleveland State has been canceled due to an outbreak of COVID-19 at CSU, the Blue Devils announced on Wednesday.

Duke says it is “actively pursuing” a replacement opponent for Saturday. Ticket-holders for this game are being asked to standby for further communication.

This is the first Duke game to be impacted by COVID-19 this season.

Entering Thursday’s games, the Blue Devils sit at No. 8 in KenPom’s live rankings. They’re 8-1 and the top-ranked team in the ACC so far this season.

If Duke isn’t able to find a replacement opponent, then its nonconference slate will end on Thursday night vs. App State. The Blue Devils begin conference play on Dec. 22 vs. Virginia Tech. The Hokies are No. 31 in KenPom, which is good enough for No. 3 in the ACC.

Duke and App State tip off at 7:00 p.m. ET on Thursday.
