The Duke Blue Devils showed that they are still one of the best teams in the ACC on Thursday. Duke dominated Pitt in a 96-69 rout.

One of the brighter stars in the game for Duke was Kyle Filipowski. Filipowski knocked down 22 points and also had 1 assist in the win. The Blue Devils set an ACC Tournament record with 27 assists as a team against the Panthers.

Filipowski’s teammate Tyrese Proctor made sure to catch up with the Duke center after the game. Filipowski was honored to be able to share the moment with his teammates.

“It was just so much fun playing with you guys,” Filipowski said. “We had a career high 27 assists in the ACC Tournament. Playing with guys, finding you in the right spots, it was amazing.”

Filipowski sent some praise to Proctor as well, after the Duke guard recorded a double-double (11 points, 10 assists).

Other key contributors for Duke were Dereck Lively (13 points) and Dariq Whitehead (8 points, 4 rebounds). Lively actually capped off a 12-0 Duke run towards the beginning of the 2nd half with a three-pointer.

Whitehead turned defense into offense with a steal that ended in a three-point play.

Duke will face Miami in the semifinal round of the ACC Tournament on Friday. That game will take place at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN and ESPN2.
