Duke carries an undefeated record into Friday night’s matchup vs. No. 1 Gonzaga, but the Blue Devils are a hefty underdog in the matchup.

Gonzaga is favored by 8.5 points over Duke as of Friday evening, according to DraftKings. The total has been set at 155 points.

The No. 5 Blue Devils are 6-0, and the record includes a comfortable win over No. 10 Kentucky earlier in the season. However, Duke has not faced a ranked opponent since meeting the Wildcats back on Nov. 9.

Meanwhile, Gonzaga already has ranked wins vs. No. 2 UCLA and No. 8 Texas. Both of those victories were by double digits and were not particularly competitive contests.

Gonzaga is led by one of the best bigs in college basketball, Drew Timme. He returns from last season’s Final Four squad and is averaging 18.7 points per game so far this season.

The Bulldogs also have 5-star freshman Chet Holmgren, who is in content with Paolo Banchero for the No. 1 overall pick in next year’s NBA Draft.

Banchero has been Duke’s best player so far this season. He’s averaging 17.8 points and 8.0 rebounds per game while also contributing on the defensive end.

Tipoff is at 10:30 p.m. ET on Friday.
