Stewart is the No. 33 overall player in the class of 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 5 power forward and the No. 4 player from the state of Florida.
Stewart joins 5-star guard Caleb Foster in Duke’s class of 2023. The Blue Devils currently have the No. 1 class in the country for 2023, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
He chose Duke over offers from programs like Michigan, Ohio State, Georgetown, Texas and Alabama. Head coach-in-waiting Jon Scheyer is listed as his primary recruiter.
Scheyer’s ability to continue to land elite prospects is a great sign for the future of the program. The Blue Devils are hoping for a seamless transition between Scheyer and coach Mike Krzyzewski after this season.
