Duke listed as No. 1 seed in Joe Lunardi’s first Bracketology update of 2022

Duke landed on the No. 1-seed line in Joe Lunardi’s first Bracketology update of the new year.

The Blue Devils are currently Lunardi’s No. 3 overall team, according to the seed list he released on Saturday morning. Here’s his full Bracketology update:

Duke is currently on pause right now due to COVID-19. The Blue Devils were forced to postpone games vs. Clemson and Notre Dame this week. Their next scheduled game is on Tuesday against Georgia Tech.

Duke has one of the best résumés in the country. It already has victories over Kentucky, G

onzaga and Virginia Tech this season.

The ACC as a whole has four teams who are currently in Lunardi’s field of 68. Duke is joined by No. 9-seeded North Carolina, No. 10-seeded Virginia Tech and No. 11-seeded Louisville. Clemson is currently on the bubble, but on the outside looking in.

Duke’s next game vs. Georgia Tech tips off at 9:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
