Duke remains at No. 2 in latest AP Poll after another undefeated week
Duke remained at No. 2 in the latest AP Poll, which was released on Monday afternoon.
The Blue Devils went 2-0 this week, picking up convincing wins over Appalachian State and Elon. They’re now 10-1 on the season, with their lone loss coming against Ohio State back on Nov. 30.
No other ACC team made the top 25 this week. North Carolina, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech all received votes.
Duke will now turn its attention to conference play, which it will begin on Wednesday vs. Virginia Tech. The Hokies are one of the ACC’s top teams this season and are currently ranked No. 22 according to KenPom.
Meanwhile, Duke enters this week at No. 6 in KenPom’s rankings. The Blue Devils are No. 6 in offensive efficiency and No. 18 in defensive efficiency. Gonzaga, Baylor, Purdue, Kansas and Houston are the teams currently ranked ahead of Duke, per KenPom.
Tip off vs. Virginia Tech on Wednesday is set for 9:00 p.m. ET.
