Jon Scheyer and the Duke Blue Devils will play for the ACC Tournament title Saturday evening.

The Blue Devils downed Pitt and Miami in a hard-fought battle Friday to reach the title game against the Cavaliers, a huge accomplishment in Year 1 under Scheyer. Following the Blue Devils’ win over the Hurricanes Friday, Scheyer urged his team to “savor it” and give it their all.

“The whole year I’ve tried to be in the moment,” Scheyer said. “If I start talking about 2009, 2010, these guys are going to start rolling their eyes, so I’m not going to start that at all… But the main thing is that it’s a big-time opportunity to play in the championship game for the ACC Tourney, and we’re going to savor it and give it our all tomorrow night.”

Can Duke down the Cavs?

Without question.

Duke is the hot team heading into Saturday night. The Blue Devils have won 8 straight and have already beaten the Cavaliers this season. They also played tougher competition to reach the championship game. But that doesn’t mean it will be a walk in the park either.

Virginia, as always, leans on defense but has a strong offense as well this season, featuring a couple players that can really stroke it from range.

The game is set for 8:30 p.m. EST on ESPN.
