Kyle Filipowski trolled as a hypocrite following tripping incident in Duke-North Carolina game

Kyle Filipowski’s leg has no lingering issues from the court-storming incident earlier this year, it would appear.

After falling on the road to Wake Forest, Filipowski was the center of attention and the court-storming discussion after he appeared to be injured after colliding with a fan. Head coach Jon Scheyer said Filipowski sprained his ankle but later changed that to say it was Filipowski’s knee in the incident.

The good news is Duke’s star big man has not missed time from that injury, and he did not appear to be having any issues against North Carolina. In fact, he appeared to use his leg to intentionally trip UNC’s Harrison Ingram. Filipowski also appeared to act like he was banged up as a result of the interaction.

Fan, media reaction

Following the incident at Wake Forest, Filipowski was quick to speak out and claim he felt targeted and that the collision was intentional. Fans were quick to bring up his concerns related to court-storming following his tripping incident, and some even referenced the second coming of Grayson Allen in Filipowski.
