Kyrie Irving has not been happy with the Brooklyn Nets recently and had demanded a trade ahead of the NBA trade deadline.

Well, the former Duke star has reportedly gotten his wish. Per a report from Shams Charania of The Athletic, Irving is on the move to the Dallas Mavericks.

Per Charania, the Mavericks are sending Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smith, a first-round pick and multiple second-round picks to Brooklyn to complete the deal:

There were rumors that Irving wanted to play with the Los Angeles Lakers and former teammate LeBron James, but that doesn’t seem like it will happen.

Instead, Irving will play the rest of this season alongside superstar Luka Doncic as the Mavericks try to make a run at the NBA Finals.
