Duke struggled at Miami on Feb. 6, and suffered an 81-59 defeat in a game where the Blue Devils committed 21 turnovers.

The Hurricanes shot 47.8% from the field, and 4 players scored in double figures.

After Duke knocked off Pitt with relative ease, 96-69, on Thursday in the ACC Tournament, Mark Mitchell and Tyrese Proctor talked about how they’re looking forward to Friday’s rematch with Miami, which is set for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2.

“Obviously last time we didn’t put our best foot forward, didn’t fight, didn’t compete,” Mitchell said. “I’m glad that we have this opportunity to play them again. I think we’re going to be a lot better tomorrow. Obviously we had a meeting after that game, and since then we’ve been a lot better, and I think tomorrow will be a lot better.”

Mitchell against Pitt had 12 points and 5 rebounds, while Proctor added 11 points, 10 assists and 3 rebounds.

“I think it’s great we get to play them again,” Proctor said. “I think we’ve been wanting this for the past few weeks. Just to know how poorly we thought we played at Miami and we know we’re such a better team than that now.”
