Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski broke a unique record with the Blue Devils’ win over Boston College on Saturday.

The victory was the 1,118th in Krzyzewski’s Duke career, which means he’s now surpassed all other Duke coaches combined. That’s according to Duke’s official records:

Krzyzewski’s career is filled with remarkable facts like that, but this one jumps to the top of the list. Duke was a proud program before Krzyzewski’s arrival in 1980-81. It had already featured in four Final Four’s and made it to two National Championship Games.

As for this season, Duke is once again a national title contender. The Blue Devils are tied with Notre Dame atop the ACC standings and hold the head-to-head tiebreaker over the Fighting Irish.

Duke will spend the next few weeks battling for a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Blue Devils have four losses this season, but none have been by more than five points.

Duke hosts Wake Forest on Tuesday.
