Nike unveils special, limited edition shirts to honor Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski

With Mike Krzyzewski’s coaching career coming to a close this weekend in New Orleans, Nike found a special way to honor the legendary coach.

Nike produced a blue shirt with its logo and the letter “K,” in honor of Krzyzewski. It’s the normal Nike logo, but without the letters “N”, “I” or “E.”

According to college basketball insider Adam Zagoria, the shirt will be worn by select Duke fans in attendance on Saturday night.

Win or lose, Krzyzewski’s final game will be in New Orleans this weekend. He’s coaching in his 13th Final Four this week, which is the most all-time. UCLA’s John Wooden made it t

o 12 Final Fours.

While that may seem liked added pressure for Duke, freshman forward Paolo Banchero downplayed any extra pressure earlier this week.

“At this point, I feel like the pressure is out the window,” Banchero said at a press conference in New Orleans. “I think it’s four teams left. All great teams. The best one’s going to win.”

Duke and UNC will tipoff shortly after Villanova-Kansas on Saturday night.
