Duke suffered a pair of major losses Wednesday evening.

Jaquez Moore and Jordan Waters, who both eclipsed 600 yards rushing this season for the Blue Devils, are expected to enter the transfer portal while Duke searches for a new head coach.

The pair combined for 1,354 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns. Waters finished as one of the better running backs in the ACC, totaling 753 yards with 12 touchdowns

Moore and Waters have not officially entered the portal as of 10 a.m. Thursday morning, but make the 8th transfers for Duke following the departure of Mike Elko to Texas A&M. One or both at least visiting College Station in the near future seems very likely.

Both Waters and Moore were rated as 3-star prospects coming out of high school, though Waters was projected as a wide receiver originally. The pair both have over 1,100 rushing yards across their time at Duke.
