A previous report from college basketball insider Adam Zagoria erroneously said Duke would face Northwestern on Saturday.
Elon is 3-8 this season and is No. 270 in KenPom.com’s live rankings. It has already faced four major opponents this season — Florida, West Virginia, Ole Miss and North Carolina — but lost by double digits in each game.
Elon is coming off a win its most recent contest vs. Winthrop on Dec. 15.
This game will be Duke’s nonconference finale. The Blue Devils begin ACC play on Dec. 22 against Virginia Tech.
Duke will be looking for its 10th win of the season on Saturday vs. Elon. Tip off is at 4 p.m. ET on the ACC Network.
Note: This story was updated to correct an erroneous report which stated Duke would face Northwestern on Saturday.
