The Florida State Seminoles secured a commitment from an in-state 4-star linebacker.

Ethan Pritchard from Seminole High School in Sanford, FL took to social media to announce his commitment to the Noles. “Committed 100%,” declared Pritchard.

Pritchard is rated as the No. 29 linebacker in the class and the No. 41 overall prospect. The prospect started out as a safety, but transitioned to linebacker full-time during the 2022 season. Pritchard helped his team to a 9-3 record last season after collecting 61 tackles and 2 pass breakups.

The linebacker had received offers from Tennessee, Notre Dame, and Louisville, among others, before deciding to stay close to home and commit to the Noles.

Pritchard attended a Florida State camp back in the summer of 2022, and visited for the team’s game with Florida that same year. Pritchard attended another camp in the summer of 2023 and visited the team in September.

Pritchard has helped the Noles land the No. 4 2024 class. The team has 22 commits thus far, with 3 5-stars, 12 4-stars, and 7 3-stars.
