Adam Fuller has agreed to a new contract extension that will make him amongst the highest-paid defensive coordinators in the country, per a report.

The Noles’ defense was strong throughout the season and appeared to get even better late in the year as FSU finished off a 13-0 campaign with wins over Florida and Louisville. As a result, Fuller received a significant contract extension this week.

Fuller’s new salary on his new deal will be bumped to $1.8, according to Warchant.

That salary will make Fuller one of the nation’s highest-paid defensive coordinators in the country for the 2024 season. According to USA Today, the highest-paid DC in 2023 was Ohio State’s Jim Knowles at $1.96 million.

Fuller’s previous salary for the 2023 season was $1.1 million.

Florida State’s defense allowed 4.68 yards per play last season, which ranked 2nd behind only Clemson in terms of yards per play. The Noles were particularly stingy against the pass. They allowed a passer efficiency rating of 96.50, which was the best mark of any ACC program this past season.
