Dan Mullen makes prediction in Florida State-Wake Forest game

ESPN college football analyst Dan Mullen has made his prediction for this weekend’s game between Florida State and Wake Forest.

The former Gator coach is siding with Florida State this weekend, picking the Noles to hold off Wake Forest at Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday.

Here’s his full slate of predictions for this weekend:

Florida State is looking for its first win over Wake Forest since 2018. The Demon Deacons have won 2 in a row — last season and in 2019. The programs did not meet in 2020 due to the pandemic.

FSU is favored by a touchdown in this game. T

he Noles are coming off an impressive 44-14 win over Boston College in Week 4. Jordan Travis threw for a career-high 321 yards in the win.

Wake Forest, meanwhile, suffered a heart-breaking overtime loss to Clemson last weekend. However, the Demon Deacons are still a formidable threat in the Atlantic division and could pose problems for FSU on both sides of the ball.

Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.
