Danny Kanell isn’t too worried about Florida State’s closer-than-expected win over Boston College on Saturday.

The CBS analyst shared his brief thoughts shortly after the game. He said it will be important for coaches to fix FSU’s mistakes and for the team to get healthy moving forward.

Florida State did battle through multiple injuries on Saturday. It did not have starting offensive linemen Robert Scott Jr. or Maurice Smith. Safety Akeem Dent also missed the game with an injury.

FSU quarterback Jordan Travis briefly left the game with an apparent arm injury, although he later returned and played the entire 2nd half.

Florida State made crucial mistakes on both sides of the ball in this game. FSU’s defense struggled the entire game while the offense allowed Boston College back into the game in the 3rd quarter by coughing up a scoop-and-score touchdown.

Florida State will now try to move on to Week 4. The Noles are set to travel to Death Valley next weekend to face Clemson in an all-important ACC showdown.
