Deion Sanders has perfect reaction after learning he’s tied with Lee Corso on FSU’s all-time INT list

Deion Sanders learned a little-known fact on Saturday morning during his appearance on College GameDay.

Sanders and Lee Corso both recorded 14 interceptions during their respective careers in Tallahassee. Both former defensive backs are in the top five in program history for interceptions in a career.

Sanders had a hilarious reaction to learning this piece of Florida State history. Here’s the clip:

“You’re joking! Are you kidding me?” Sanders said.

Kirk Herbstreit pointed out that passing wasn’t as prevalent in the era that Corso played. However, Sanders noted that opposing quarterbacks didn’t throw at him often.

“They didn’t throw at me like that,” Sanders said with a smile.

Corso is not present for this week’s show as he tends to a health issue

. The longtime GameDay analyst starred at Florida State from 1953-56 and earned the nickname “Sunshine Scooter.”

College GameDay is at Jackson State this weekend for its matchup against Southern.
