Dylan Brown-Turner, LB recruit out of Texas, announces decommitment from North Texas after ACC visit

Dylan Brown-Turner, a 6-foot-1 and 200 pound linebacker out of Dallas, Texas (South Oak Cliff), has decommitted from North Texas after a visit to Florida State.

Brown-Turner shared the announcement on social media and thanked the North Texas coaches for treating him like family and welcoming him to the Mean Green family. Brown-Turner is a 3-star recruit according to the 247Sports Composite and ranked the No. 128 linebacker in the Class of 2023 and the No. 245 player in the state of Texas. He has a reported 14 offers, and is being recruited to Florida State by Randy Shannon and Chris Thomsen.

Patrick Burnham of Rivals

reported that Brown-Turner told him after a weekend official visit that, “He had a great time on his visit.” Burnham added that, “One and one could equal Tallahassee.”
