ESPN analyst gives keys for Florida State to pull off upset vs. Clemson
Florida State is an underdog at home against Clemson on Saturday night.
The Seminoles are coming off of back-to-back losses, but will hope snap that streak against the Tigers. They were in position to beat NC State on the road last weekend, but a pair of untimely turnovers and other offensive mistakes kept them off the score board in the second half.
Earlier this week, ESPN’s Stanford Steve explained what Florida State needs to do in order to beat Clemson this weekend.
“They have to be better offensively,” he said. “When you go back and look at last week, they really, really struggled. Getting shutout in the second half at NC State in a game they led for the whole first half. And I worry about that in this circumstance because one thing I know … that Clemson defense, it travels very, very well.
“Florida State has to be more consistent and limit turnovers. You can not turn the ball over and give the ball to Clemson.”
Clemson has won 6 straight games over the Noles.
