ESPN updated its bowl projections after a wild Week 2 of college football.

Florida State was off this week, but the Seminoles are 2-0 and are trending toward their first bowl game since 2019. FSU last played in the Sun Bowl — a game it lost to Arizona State.

Back in Week 0, ESPN projected FSU to once again appear in the Sun Bowl in 2022. Those projections have changed.

Kyle Bonagura is now projecting Florida State to make it to the Pinstripe Bowl, where it would meet Wisconsin. FSU is 1-0 all-time against the Badgers. FSU has never appeared in the Pinstripe Bowl.

Meanwhile, Mark Schlabach has the Noles in the Gator Bowl against South Carolina. Florida State has a long history with the Gamecocks, but the programs have only met once since 1991. FSU is 16-3 all-time against South Carolina and has won 7 straight games in this series. The Noles last appeared in the Gator Bowl in 2009.

Florida State is 2-0 for the first time since 2016. The Seminoles are slight favorites on the road against Louisville in Week 3.

FSU and Louisville will kickoff on Friday night.
