ESPN insider Pete Thamel appeared on College GameDay on Saturday to provide an update on the status of Tate Rodemaker.

“We’re not going to get clarity on Rodemaker’s status until the hours before tonight’s 8:00 p.m. kick,” Thamel explained. “Florida State has not publicly used the term ‘concussion protocol,’  but that’s clearly the process that Rodemaker’s in.”

Rodemaker took a big hit against the Florida Gators but passed concussion tests on the sideline. However, the QB reported concussion symptoms last Sunday and was limited in practice all week.

With Rodemaker limited, third-string freshman QB Brock Glenn took most of the live reps in practice. Glenn attempted just 4 passes this season, completing two of them for 35 yards. The QB also ran the ball 6 times for 37 yards and 1 rushing TD.

The Noles are looking to remain perfect and keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive. The Cardinals, meanwhile, are in the ACC Championship for the 1st time in their history.

The 2 rivals will kick off from Charlotte, NC at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
