College GameDay’s crew was split when picking a winner between LSU and Florida State on Sunday night.

Desmond Howard and Lee Corso both picked Florida State to pull off the upset. Kirk Herbstreit and guest picker Jack Harlow are backing LSU in New Orleans.

“I was with Joe Burrow last night so I’m rocking with LSU,” Harlow said with a laugh.

Corso explained his pick earlier in the show.

“Florida State is going to beat LSU in a big upset,” Corso said on College GameDay on Saturday morning. “They’re a good football team and they’re going to beat LSU. Watch it.”

Florida State is a 3-point underdog in this game, which will be played in front of a presumably-hostile crowd in the Superdome.

It’s Year 3 for Mike Norvell, who is hoping to lead FSU back to bowl eligibility — and beyond. Florida State hasn’t qualified for a bowl game since 2019.

On the other side, it will be the first game of the Brian Kelly era for LSU. The Tigers have yet to name a starting quarterback between Arizona State transfer Jayden Daniels and redshirt freshman Garrett Nussmeier.

Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET on Sunday night.
