ESPN’s Football Power Index has a prediction for Florida State’s Week 7 contest against Syracuse.

Florida State is coming off of a 39-17 win over Virginia Tech in Week 6. The Seminoles were led by Trey Benson and Johnny Wilson, who each scored a pair of touchdowns against the Hokies.

Syracuse has struggled in recent weeks. The Orange are coming off of back-to-back ACC losses, including a blowout defeat at the hands of North Carolina last weekend.

FPI is projecting Florida State as a big favorite in this contest. The model gives the Noles an 82% chance to win at home on Saturday.

Florida State is 5-0 on the season and is widely-considered to be one of the top contenders for the College Football Playoff. The Seminoles have already picked up big wins over LSU and Clemson and are off to a 3-0 start in ACC play.

Syracuse started the year with a 4-0 record, but Dino Babers’ squad has fallen off over the last couple of weeks. Most recently, the Orange lost 40-7 to North Carolina as Drake Maye threw for 442 yards.

FSU is 13-2 all-time against Syracuse and has won 3 straight meetings in this series.

Kickoff is set for 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.
