Florida State and Louisville will battle in primetime on Friday night.

The Seminoles, who have lost 2 straight to Louisville, are 2-0 on the season for the first time since 2016. They’re also a slight favorite over the Cardinals, per ESPN’s Football Power Index.

FPI is projecting Florida State to have a 54.9% chance of winning this game. FSU is also a slight favorite according to consensus betting odds.

Florida State was off in Week 2, meaning the Noles had an extra week to prepare for Malik Cunningham and the Cardinals. Meanwhile, Louisville is coming off an upset win over UCF last Friday night.

FSU quarterback Jordan Travis will be looking for redemption against his old program. Travis, who transferred from Louisville in 2019, was FSU’s quarterback against the Cardinals in 2020 when the Noles suffered a 48-16 loss.

The Noles are 16-6 all-time against Louisville. However, the teams are even at 4 wins each since Louisville joined the ACC.

Florida State and Louisville will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday night.
