ESPN's FPI projects outcome in Florida State-Florida game
Florida State will be looking to extend its winning streak to five games this weekend against Florida.
The Seminoles enter this matchup having won four contests in a row in blowout fashion. However, none of those wins have come against a team as strong as the Gators.
ESPN’s Football Power Index still likes FSU’s chances to end the regular season on a high note. FPI is giving the Noles a 76.9% chance to come away with the win.
A victory would put Florida State at 9-3 on the season and give the program a chance to win a 10th game during bowl season. The Seminoles haven’t won 10 games in a single campaign since 2016.
A win would also snap UF’s three-game win streak over the Noles. Mike Norvell has yet to pick up a win over Florida during his tenure in Tallahassee.
Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday night. The game will be broadcast on ABC.
