Florida State is now 3-0 on the season for the first time since 2015.

The Seminoles are halfway back to bowl eligibility, a feat they have not reached since 2019.

On Sunday, ESPN’s Football Power Index updated its projections for Florida State and several key goals the Seminoles have for 2022.

According to FPI, bowl eligibility for Florida State is now a near-certainty. FSU has a 99.2% chance of getting to 6 wins, per the projection.

However, Florida State could set its sights on a higher goal as well. The Seminoles now have a 11.2% chance to win the division and a 5.2% chance to win the ACC Championship. Both of those numbers are big increases over preseason projections.

Florida State is still a big long shot to make the College Football Playoff. FPI gives the Noles a 0.2% chance to make the final four.

Overall, Florida State is projected to win 8.6 games this season. Back in the preseason, FPI predicted FSU would win 6.8 games in 2022.

Florida State has a good chance to move to 4-0 on the year when it hosts Boston College next weekend.
