ESPN’s FPI has updated its projection for Florida State’s Week 10 contest against Pittsburgh.

Florida State is 8-0 entering this contest and is coming off of three consecutive double-digit win seasons vs. the Panthers. FSU can clinch a spot in the ACC Championship Game with a win on Saturday.

On the other side, Pittsburgh is coming off of a blowout loss to Notre Dame on Saturday. The Panthers fell 58-7 on the road in South Bend.

With that in mind, it’s no surprise that Florida State is heavily favored in this contest. FPI gives the Noles a 91.5% chance to win on the road on Saturday.

Pittsburgh has been shown to be a dangerous team this season in this kind of spot. The Panthers earned their only FBS win of the season a few weeks ago against Louisville at home. The Panthers also nearly beat Wake Forest on the road earlier this season.

Florida State is 4-6 all-time against the Panthers. This is the penultimate ACC game on FSU’s 2023 schedule. It will play its ACC finale in Week 11 vs. Miami.

Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.
