Fabien Lovett was a game-wrecking defensive lineman during his career at Florida State. After bypassing the NFL a season ago for one more year in Tallahassee, Lovett confirmed his departure with a heartfelt note following the 2023 season.

“To my Seminole brothers, the brotherhood and the bond we share is something special,” wrote Lovett. “There isn’t any other group of guys I would have rather been on this climb with than you. What we did was special and can never be taken from us. Forever love and always a Nole.

“With all this being said, one chapter closes and another one begins. I am officially declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft. Let the work begin.”

Lovett began his career at Mississippi State during the 2019 season and was an early contributor for the Bulldogs. He made the move to Florida State for the 2020 season, and Lovett embarked on 4 seasons as a contributor for the Seminoles.

This season, Lovett delivered 22 tackles, 4 TFL, a sack and 3 pass breakups. He recorded 2 tackles, a sack and 2 pass breakups in the dominant FSU defensive showing against Louisville to capture the ACC Championship.
